Every crash record on this site comes from public data released by a state or city agency. We reproduce the fields the agency releases without alteration, leave out names, license plates and driver's license numbers, and refresh each feed on its own schedule.

What these records are not
We publish the state's public crash data. The full officer's report is sold by the state or the agency; we do not hold or sell it. Each record page, and each state guide, shows how to request the report.
A contributing factor or charge recorded by an officer is not a finding of fault or a conviction. If a record is wrong, the agency that took the report is the one that can correct it; you can also ask us to take it off this site on Remove a record.
