New Jersey crash reports

We do not yet publish New Jersey crash records. New Jersey State Police and toll road crash reports are public records, sold online for $13, or $5 on the Turnpike and Parkway. Here is how, and where to go for city crashes.

How to get your New Jersey crash report

Who can get the report

Anyone. In New Jersey the basic crash investigation report is a public record, and you do not need an account to buy one.

Where to request it

The New Jersey State Police and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority sell reports through one online Crash Report portal. It covers crashes the State Police handled and crashes on the toll roads.

The portal does not have reports from municipal police departments. For a crash on city or town streets, ask the records bureau of the police department that responded. Atlantic City Expressway reports are requested in writing from its authority.
