How to get your Maine crash report

Who can get the report

Anyone may buy a Maine crash report.

Where to request it

The Maine State Police run the Maine Crash Reporting Online Search and Ordering Service on the state's Maine.gov platform. Police departments and sheriffs across the state submit their crash reports to the State Police, so the service covers city and county crashes too.

Only reportable crashes are in the system: those with an injury or death, or at least $1,000 in damage, on a public road.
